As the Executive Vice President of Operations at Lennar Mortgage, Maria is responsible for the strategic direction of our operations, finance, credit, and capital markets functions.
She joined the company in 2023, after a 30-year career in mortgage and investment banking. She recently served at the Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Home Point Capital Inc. As a founding member of Homepoint, she held many leadership roles and successfully steered the company through the pandemic, a public debt offering and an IPO. Maria is a recipient of many awards including Global residential Mortgage Deal of the Year in 2002 and 2019 Women with Vision. Maria serves on the Board of Directors of Interlink Electronics (NASDAQ:LINK) where she serves as audit chair.
Maria is from Buffalo, NY where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from SUNY Buffalo State and a Master of Business Administration from the Simon School at the University of Rochester. She lives in Boca Raton, FL where she enjoys SCUBA diving for tropical fish with her husband and son.

With a career spanning more than 20 years in both mortgage operations and technology, Mr. Kauffman gained a deep understanding of the loan manufacturing process in the primary mortgage market and combined his experience with building and marketing cutting-edge, end-to-end mortgage technology. His previous work experience includes various leadership roles with Citi, Chase, FIS and Fannie Mae.

Prior to joining Acrisure, Jimson co-founded and served as the CEO of a cutting-edge employee benefits technology platform BenRevo, where he pioneered solutions to streamline day to day workflows of benefits brokers. A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Jimson holds degrees in Biochemistry and Economics.
