Justin Alexander is the Director of Collateral Strategy & Innovation at Fannie Mae, managing a team that focuses on modernizing the home valuation process. Responsible for testing new technologies and ways to enhance collateral risk management, Justin’s team assesses ways to leverage tools such as geographic information system (GIS) data and image recognition. Justin began his industry career with over 17 years of appraisal experience and spent the last 7 years focusing on data analysis, risk strategy, and appraisal modernization, Before Fannie Mae, Justin worked at First American Financial Corporation, building and enhancing products. Before that, he worked at CoreLogic, leveraging his industry experience as a fraud and risk strategist and industry solutions advisor.
John Holbrook
Vice President - Digital Valuation Solutions, ICE
With over 28 years of experience in collateral risk and valuation, John is a seasoned leader and strategist in the mortgage technology industry. He has held various roles at LPS, Fannie Mae, Collateral Analytics, and Black Knight, where he developed and implemented innovative products and strategies for property valuation and data.
As the Vice President of Digital Valuation Solutions at ICE Mortgage Technology, his focus is on creating solutions that bring transparency and simplicity to the home ownership journey by using digital twins and property data to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of valuation processes and products. He is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he learned the importance of teamwork, integrity, and excellence.
Scott Reuter
Single-Family Chief Appraiser and Director of Valuation, Freddie Mac
Scott Reuter is the Chief Appraiser and Director of Valuation for the Single-Family business. His team leads the ongoing development and refinement of property valuation risk management strategies, underwriting products, and establishing and maintaining a credible quality assurance process across multiple lines of business support.
Mr. Reuter and his team also interact with both Sellers/clients and stakeholders across the appraisal industry to reinforce Freddie Mac’s quality standards.
Scott is a State Certified-General Appraiser with over 30 years of experience in valuation, appraisal and collateral risk management concerns. Prior to Freddie Mac, he held management positions with Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and GE. He is a recipient of GE’s America Award for outstanding contribution to the business and has recently been recognized as the CRN (Collateral Risk Network) 2021 Valuation Visionary.
Mr. Reuter holds a B.A. from The Ohio State University and has completed the executive leadership program at Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business.

Damien Weldon
Vice President of Valuation and Collateral Solutions, ICE
Damien Weldon is vice president of valuation and collateral solutions for ICE, where he oversees product management and data science for automated valuation models and collateral products. A seasoned practitioner, he has over 20 years’ experience in quantitative solution development. Before joining ICE, he was managing director, business development at Vichara Technologies. Prior to Vichara, he held a number of senior business development, product management, and data science roles at CoreLogic. Damien has a bachelor’s in science in physics and mathematics from the University of Dublin and a master’s of science in mathematical modeling and numerical analysis from the University of Oxford.
