Geoff Green

Global Head for Mortgage and Lending Salesforce

Geoff Green serves as the Global Head for Mortgage and Lending at Salesforce. Geoff works with leading financial services organizations (e.g, Bank, Non-Bank, Credit Unions, CDFI's, Wealth Management, etc.) across all global regions spanning mortgage, consumer lending, and the emerging fintech ecosystem. Geoff is responsible for Salesforce's global point of view, go to market strategy, partner community approach, and fintech ecosystem prioritization in the mortgage and lending industry.

Previously in his career, Geoff served as an executive at the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). Geoff was the voice of the customer and principal advocate for service delivery improvements by leading the FHA’s Transformation Program during the nation’s housing crisis of 2008 when one in three loans in the United States were backed by the FHA. During this time period, FHA achieved $1 Trillion of mortgage insurance on its books for the first time in history

The FHA Transformation Program involved the development of a modern financial services IT environment to better manage and mitigate counterparty risk across all of FHA's Insurance Programs. The program minimized the exposure of FHA’s Insurance Funds by enabling risk detection, fraud prevention, and the capture of critical data points at the front-end of the loan lifecycle.

Before joining HUD, Geoff led the day-to-day operations of the SBA’s turnaround during Hurricane’s Katrina, Rita and Wilma by ensuring that broken parts of key business processes of the disaster loan-making function were repaired using lean management techniques, and that improvements in customer service delivery were achieved. In total, over 420,000 disaster applications were processed during the Gulf Coast Storms for a total of over $10 billion in disaster lending.

Over his 25 year career Geoff has also served as a Vice President at Oracle leading Strategy, Solutions and Business Development across multiple lines of business, a Managing Director at the Phase One Consulting Group (now Accenture) where he led a multi-million dollar portfolio of client engagements in the Financial Services, Social Infrastructure, and Innovation practice areas, and as an Associate at Booz Allen. Geoff received an MPA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, and played Football at Ithaca College where he received his undergraduate degree.
