Heather Clark joined ICE Mortgage Technology in March 2021 and is the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Regulatory Counsel. She is responsible for administering the compliance program and product compliance within the organization. Heather has over 20 years of industry experience, including in various management and executive-level roles. Prior to joining ICE Mortgage Technology, Heather was the Vice President of Mortgage Compliance at a fintech company, Figure Lending LLC, where she oversaw the compliance program for its mortgage lending division. Heather also worked in the Financial Institutions Regulatory Practice Group at the Offit Kurman law firm, where she advised clients on consumer finance laws and regulations. Heather was also the Vice President of the subsidiary of Offit Kurman, Strategic Compliance Partners, a compliance consulting firm, which provided clients across the nation with practical and strategic assistance on federal and state lending requirements, and on the implementation of these requirements into business operations. Heather also served as Executive Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Compliance Officer for a national mortgage lender, First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in political science, cum laude, from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctor from the George Mason School of Law. Heather is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia, Texas, and Virginia.
